On September 14, I had the honor of photographing Betsy and Mitch’s backyard wedding in Shoreview, Minnesota. I’ve known Betsy for years. She has been a close friend of my daughter, Caitlin, since middle school. When the couple asked if I would be their wedding photographer; I had to say yes.
Betsy and Mitch met while working as engineers for Chevron in California. Betsy is a former Division 1 gymnast and Mitch a former Marine. Needless to say they are both super fit. This past year they quit their jobs and moved to Minnesota via a four month road trip encompassing 1,400 miles and 33 states. They stayed with family and friends along the way or camped under the stars.
Their wedding was an intimate affair surrounded by family and close friends.
